    WHAT TO EXPECT FROM COACHING WITH ADAM

    As a coach, I will be present during your transformation to encourage, motivate and empower you to reach your full potential by helping to redefine who you are from the inside out. Dissolving any limiting beliefs.

     

    My coaching approach is based on four key components:

     

    Knowing – Being clear about where you are now and where you really want to be.

    Doing – taking responsibility for life, your life changes and taking actions towards making them happen.

    Discovering - that you have powers that you never dreamed possible in your wildest dreams.

    Being – feeling empowered to overcome challenges, self-doubt and to live the life you want.

    Of course, I’m no sage. I never pretend to have all the answers and I make my fair share of mistakes too. In fact I salute my mistakes because that’s where I learn and grow the most. But my commitment is to bring you the very best of what I’m living and learning, and to keep it real and honest as I go.

    What’s my coaching style? I am direct, progressive, yet gentle and I draw upon my intuition and vast life experience, as well as my training to guide sessions. And, while I’m a professional coach, I keep our sessions playful and fun. If life transformation becomes too serious, it’s probably not the right change for you!

    I am an avid, maybe obsessive reader. Books give me the ultimate buzz of excitement and open the doors of my mind to the awe and wonder that is life.

     

    I’m a Virgo. My birthday is 19th September.

     

    The mythological Adam was the first man to make a non-conformist conscious choice.

     

    Senex is a Latin word literally meaning a wise man of old age

     

    I’m a husband to my best friend, training partner and soul-mate Julie, my psychic opposite who loves to make up the whole! A story in itself.

     

    I’m a Father to three grown up kids, Ryan, Kerry and Shaunie.

     

    I have four grandchildren to date, Ashleigh, Zack, Megan and Jake.

     

    I have four dogs, Jake, Smudge, Zing and Titch.

     

    I am introverted, I love working out, nutrition, writing, reading, studying and selectively watching awesomely deep movies and philosophising about anything including the Gilmour girls, friends and Smallville.

     

    I have no television. Dvd's on my computer only. I detest what commercial television is doing to the human race without our full knowledge. I watch Gaiam-TV selectively.

     

    I have a fitness & nutrition Diploma (distinction)

     

    I use my bicycle as my primary mode of transport.

     

    I give everything in my life a name. My car is Hermes. My bike is Tao. My PC is Percy. You get the drift.

     

    Successfully completed 12 weeks mentor training with Greenhouse Mentoring U.K.

    Before your session I will plan what you may need to help you.

    I act as a sounding board, your supporter, someone who is focused on helping you get the best out of life.

    After each session I email you a brief summary of your goals and am available for support between sessions.

    I will listen, but never judge you.

    I will challenge your thinking.

    I will keep you focused.

    I will help move you forward.

    I will help you move out of your comfort zone so you achieve what you want to.

    I will help you lose negative beliefs which hold you back.

    I will help you define what you want so you are clear about your choices.

     

    Who do I work with?

    I work with anyone who wants to make changes and is willing to work hard at these.

    Current and former clients include those working on career change- from CEOs to clients returning to work, coping with redundancy, downsizing, or local business owners - and clients struggling with personal decisions, change and confidence. Mostly though just ordinary folk that have reached a point in life needing some direction and motivation and help in understanding what life might be all about.

    Does coaching work?

    Coaching works if you want it to work. I am here to support you and use my expertise, but I can't do the work for you.

    If you are not committed to change or only use the sessions to talk, then it won't work.

    In between sessions you have to take action and keep going if you find it gets tough.

    I continuously use all of the methods I coach to get better myself on a daily basis. They are a good addition to any lifestyle.

    Love Your Shadow

    Knowing our own darkness is the beat way to deal with the darkness of others.

    The scope of the subject is colossal, however my aim is simple, to guide my readers, my clients and myself to a life of progression. A life full of meaning and a life to be lived to the full until we eventually and predictably arrive at the bridge into the unknown. For now, we can only live the lives we know we have. We have a finite timescale barring any abrupt endings. Life is unpredictable so we best get on with it. Nobody really knows past ‘lights out’ what the future holds.

    I am still dazed and confused, a little more Zen than rebel nowadays and have I found a comfortable life space somewhere in the middle of my cheeky heroes and chilled demons.
